Mr. Anis Ahmed, student of Govt. Degree College, Chenani won the first match of Wrestling in 57 Kg weight category in the inter-collegiate tournament organised by the University of Jammu.

Ms. Meenakshi Thakur, Student of Sem 3 of GDC, Chenani has been selected for Senior National Circle Style Kabaddi Championship to be held at University Kharar, Chandigarh from 1st to 3rd April 2022.

FEMALE BOXERS BROUGHT LAURELS TO GOVT. DEGREE COLLEGE, CHENANI IN J&K UT BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP. Ms. Preeti Devi and Ms. Avantika Bali students of semesters V and I respectively of Govt. Degree College, CHENANI brought laurels to the College and the entire UT by winning Gold and Silver medals respectively in the J&K UT Boxing Championship organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Boxing Association at Indoor Sports Complex, M A Stadium Jammu. The competition was organized under the aegis of J&K Olympic Association and was sponsored by J&K sports Council (JKSC). All eligible boxers from district units and departmental teams, including J&K Police participated in the Boxing Championship.
